Synthesis of Novel P-N-Si Synergistic Flame Retardant and Its Application in PA66

摘要: 通过甲基丙酸基次膦酸铝(Al(MPP))和γ-氨基丙基三乙氧基硅烷(KH550)反应制备得到一种新型P-N-Si协效型阻燃剂(Al(MPP)-KH550)。采用FTIR、XRF、TGA等技术表征了其产物结构及热降解行为。作为阻燃剂应用于PA66时,质量分数为20 wt%的添加量可使PA66的极限氧指数(LOI)由19. 3%提高到29. 6%,复合材料的垂直燃烧测试达到UL94 V-0 级别;此外,添加Al(MPP)-KH550 可有效抑制PA66 的热释放速率,促进致密炭层的形成。

Abstract: A novel P-N-Si synergistic flame retardant(Al(MPP)-KH550)was prepared by reaction of aluminum methyl propionylphosphinate(Al(MPP))and γ-aminopropyltriethoxysilane(KH550). The structure and thermal degradation behavior of the product were characterized with FTIR,XRF and TGA. As flame retardant being used in PA66,the limiting oxygen index(LOI)of PA66 with 20 wt% filler loading improved from 19. 3% to 29. 6%,and the vertical burning test reached UL94 V-0 grade. Moreover,not only the heat release rate(HRR)of PA66 was effectively inhibited with the adding of Al(MPP)-KH550,but also the formation of a dense carbon layer was promoted.
