China’s rural financial market has been dominated by rural credit institutions for a long period of time, with inadequate competition. According to financial structure theories and rural financial market competition patterns, enhancing rural banking and financial institutions is conduce to realizing the optimal allocation of resources. The service level of current rural inclusive finance is measured by constructing a rural inclusive financial service indicator system;the proportion of loan balance of rural commercial banks to the local loan balance is used to measure the competition degree of rural financial market;and finally, the panel Tobit random effects model is taken to conduct an empirical test of the influence of rural banking competition on rural inclusive financial service level. The research findings are as follows:The more sufficient competition in rural financial market, the more conducive it is to the improvement of local inclusive financial service level; but the competition should be diversified, that is, the financing institutions in the market should improve their own market shares by offering diversified products and services. The lower the GDP per capita in one area, the more conducive it is for the boost of rural banking market competition to improve the service level of rural inclusive finance. Compared with rural savings, the boost of competition level among rural banking and financial institutions can better improve rural loans;therefore, improving the competition level of rural financial market is more helpful for solving the current problem of“difficult and expensive to get a loan”.

In order to clarify the mechanism of action of government spending on science and technology on economic benefit, the 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the central government of China in 2018 are taken as the research objects. A spatial Quantile Regression model and a spatial intermediate effect test model are constructed to analyze the direct and secondary effects of government spending on science and technology on economic benefit. The findings are as follows:firstly, government spending on science and technology can significantly facilitate the improvement of economic enefit;in provinces of middle and lower levels, the R&D expenditure can strongly facilitate the economic benefit, while in provinces of middle and higher levels, the intensity of R&D expenditure can strongly facilitate the economic benefit. Secondly, the spatial spillover effect of government spending on science and technology can still promote economic benefit;the higher economic benefit a region has,the easier it is for the region to be affected by the government spending on science and technology of neighboring regions.Thirdly, economic development and urbanization play an intermediation role between government spending on science and technology and economic benefit;and the secondary effect of government spending on science and technology on economic benefit through economic development is stronger. Fourthly, between the government spending on science and technology of different economic zones and economic benefit, there is an evident phenomenon of level differentiation which is mainly manifested as the southeast coastal economic zone >the northern coastal and northeast economic zone>the middle economic zone>the greater southwest economic zone> the greater northwest economic zone.

Based on the micro-investigation data of CHARLS,a variety of measurement models are adopted to empirically analyze the impact of rural social insurance on farmer’s land rent-out behavior. The discoveries are as follows:firstly, the new rural cooperative medical insurance has an eminent damping effect on farmland rent-out,but the effect wanes gradually as time goes on. Secondly, the new type of pension insurance for rural residents can eminently promote farmland rent-out,and the promotion function weakens at first and becomes stabilized as time goes on. Further researches find out that the new type of pension insurance for rural residents can alleviate,to a certain degree, the unfavorable influence of new rural cooperative medical insurance on farmland rent-out, with the alleviation function constantly increasing. The study suggests that the new rural cooperative medical insurance and the new type of pension insurance for rural residents, both as an important component of rural social security, have a certain influence on rural land circulation. Hence, the government should persist in perfecting the rural social security system, expanding its coverage, improving its level, and reducing the social security function of land so as to promote the circulation of farmland. Meanwhile, attention should be paid to the synergetic coordination between policies on new rural cooperative medical insurance and new type of pension insurance for rural residents; relative mechanisms should be perfected to benefit the interactive development of the two systems,so that farmers’worries about the future after land circulation could be resolved fundamentally.

The research in Wuhan covers over 20 institutions providing for the elderly, community old-age service centers, and residential communities, including questionnaires and interviews of 412 people aged above 60. It compares and analyzes the operation performances of various types of institutions providing for the aged,as well as the current situations of different old-age care modes in satisfying the demands of the aged population for old-age care. It is discovered that the willingness of the aged population to live in nursing homes gradually increases as they grow older;compared with the female, the male is more reluctant to live in the nursing home;those living with their offspring are the least willing to consider living in the nursing home in the future, while those who live alone are the most willing to go to the nursing home;and that those who are highly integrated in the Internet society are the least willing to go to the nursing home. It is also discovered that services provided by community old-age service centers are highly homogenous and cannot truly satisfy the diversified demands of the old colony. Even their most welcomed cultural and sports activities can only attract 50 percent of the population to participate frequently, and the centers can barely provide the kind of spiritual consolation services needed by the elderly. Restricted by the disposable income level of the elderly, upscale beds in old-age care institutions are often unwanted, but down-scale beds are hard to find.

In the 1940s,there was a duo of democratic discourse and modernist poetic discourse as well as “discourse negotiation”in Yuan Kejia’s theory on the modernization of New Poetry. They finally converged into a unique Chinese modernism in pursuit of democracy. Different from the dominant mainstream Leftwing democratic poetry,Yuan proposed the concept of democratic culture as an intermediary between poetic discourse and democratic discourse. In his mind, democratic culture, covering a wider range than democratic politics,is more valuable. Hence,he advocated a shift from enthusiasm in democratic politics to the cultivation of a democratic culture. In Yuan’s view, democratic poetry, even if it was the poetry of democratic culture, needed the“difficulty”device of modernism. Yet,the“obscurity”problem has always accompanied modernism;when political democracy was reduced and replaced by cultural democracy, “democratic culture”itself had also to be“obscure。”Democratic culture has constituted a cultural identity, often forgotten,of Chinese modernist poetry, and“obscurity,”as an offbeat way to connect democracy and poetry,is also a cultural destiny.

For its radical poetic experimentations and post modernist poetic views, the American Language Poetry(ALP),originated in the 1960s and 1970s,has attracted much attention in Chinese academia.Domestically, the first translation and introduction of ALP occurred in 1990,and the past three decades has witnessed three phases of ALP studies in China. The first phase features initial exploration and translation of language poetry;the second phase,a period of development and expansion, marks studies on language poetry and a multiple research perspective is established;and the third phase features deepening communications in which the Chinese and Western academia have deeper exchanges and dialogues on relevant subjects, showing a research turn to comparative poetics. The purpose of a diachronic review and analysis of domestic ALP studies is to discuss the diversified critical modes of domestic academia to interpret language poetry. Exploring the characteristics and tendency of domestic ALP studies can,in the post modernity dimension, better understand the dialogue between Chinese and Western scholars and reveal the turn to the comparative poetic research approach. Considering the future research prospect of ALP studies, the study proposes that trans-boundary research and sound shape will become the topics of future studies, which can, hopefully, provide some reference for related studies in China.
