Abstract: Home quarantine and telecommuting have become a popular social phenomenon during the COVID-19 pandemic. How telecommuting affects people’s family life，specially，how the youth group adjust the relationship between work and family，has become a social focus. The research shows the timespace boundary between work and family life has been changed when young employees work from home，and the time-space boundary can be vague，distinct，or overlapping. As an active subject，young employees can take advantage of such boundary variation. Some center one their family and enhance family ties；some strive for a balance between work and family；and others trigger family problems when they focus on work，resulting in clashes by mishandling. On the one hand，family，as a basic social unit，displays social tenacity；on the other hand，it provides insights for constructing harmonious families and coping with social risks as well.
