Abstract: In the research of new poetry in China in 2019，“the history of new poetry”was constructed as an approach. Researchers put much emphasis on“problem consciousness”when writing the history of new poetry. Most of them focused on“poetic problems”in the process of new poetry’s emergence and development，revealing the problems’complexity and providing a reference for their solutions. In addition，researchers consciously used the theoretical perspective of“the history of new poetry”in their study of various poetic problems，which is specifically reflected in refuting the existing narration of new poetry history，analyzing poetic phenomena，and constructing the form of new poetry. Also，while exploring new poetry’s historical materials，the researchers，to a certain extent，touched the topic of“historicized”study of new poetry.
