Two Dimensions of Mystique and Non-mystique in Religious Experience

Abstract: In the context of contemporary research on religious studies,the term “religious experience” as one of the basic essentials is one with embiguous meanings. On different occasions or in different theoretical systems of religious studies,it often has meanings not fully the same or even entirely different.First of all,therefore,it is imperative to conduct an investigation of its name and connotations and then analyse the heart of the matter,i.e.“personal experience in religion”,and further on,a discussion is to be held of its two dimensions of mystique and non-mystique so as to pry into the where of the essence of religious experience.
