锂离子电池高安全性阻燃聚合物电解质研究进展

Research Progress of High-Safety Flame-Retardant Polymer Electrolytes for Lithium-Ion Batteries

摘要: 可燃性的聚合物电解质在发生滥用短路、机械冲击以及热失控后容易引发火灾,因此对用于锂离子电池的聚合物电解质进行阻燃改性显得尤为必要。综述了阻燃聚合物电解质的研究进展,首 先介绍了聚合物电解质燃烧过程中气相和凝聚相两种阻燃机理以及阻燃性能的各种评价指标,然后概述了各类阻燃化合物的优缺点,并依据阻燃元素的不同对聚合物电解质阻燃剂进行分类讨论,最后预测了聚膦酸酯和磷腈类化合物在聚合物电解质阻燃领域的应用前景,并对阻燃聚合物电解质未来的研究方向进行了展望。

Abstract: Flammable polymer electrolytes are prone to fire after the abuse of short circuits,mechanical shock,and thermal runaway. Therefore,flame-retardant modification for lithiumion batteries polymer electrolytes exhibits particularly necessary. This paper reviews the research progress of flame-retardant polymer electrolytes. First,the two flame-retardant mechanisms of gas-phase and condensed phase during the combustion of polymer electrolytes,as well as various evaluation indicators for flame-retardant performance,are introduced. Then it summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of different flame-retardant compounds, and the flame retardants of polymer electrolytes have been classified for discussion according to the differences in flame-retardant elements. Finally,the application prospects for polyphosphonate and phosphazene compounds in the field of flame-retardant polymer electrolytes are predicted,and the future research directions of flame-retardant polymer electrolytes are prospected.
