Application of UDD on Eliminating Next-Nearest-Neighbor Interactions in Generation of Cluster States

摘要: 在具有XY 型相互作用的自旋链中,可以分两步操作制备可用于量子计算的簇态。当考虑到实际情况中不可避免的量子自旋间的次近邻相互作用时,制备的簇态的保真度会随着粒子数的增加而不断降低。研究表明,应用周期性动力学退耦合(periodic dynamical decoupling, PDD)能够有效抑制此次近邻相互作用噪声。众所周知,Uhrig 动力学退耦合(Uhrig dynamical decoupling, UDD)抑制噪声的效果一般优于PDD。为了进一步抑制XY 模型中的次近邻相互作用,提出应用UDD 抑制次近邻相互作用的方案。研究结果表明,外加脉冲总数相同时,UDD 方案制备到的簇态的保真度数值要大于之前的PDD 方案,即UDD 方案抑制XY 模型中的次近邻相互作用的效果优于PDD方案。

Abstract: It can generate the cluster states for quantum computing in the spin chain with XY interactions by two step operations. The fidelity of the generated cluster states becomes smaller and smaller with the increase of the spin number when we take the next-nearest-neighbor interactions into account.The research showed that the periodic dynamical decoupling(PDD) could effectively suppress the noise of next-nearest-neighbor interactions. As everyone knows,Uhrig dynamical decoupling(UDD) generally performs better than PDD on noise suppressing. We provided the scheme of eliminating the next-nearest-neighbor interactions with UDD,the results showed that the fidelity of cluster states with UDD was bigger than that of PDD when the number of applied pulse was the same,that is to say,UDD was better than PDD for suppressing nextnearest-neighbor interactions in XY model.
