摘要: 塑料光纤具有带宽高、韧性好、抗干扰能力强、易接续等优点,在短距离(1~2 km)传输中有明显优势。首先介绍了塑料光纤的背景和基本特征,然后分析了塑料光纤研制、生产的研究进展,以及在光纤到户、汽车、照明、工业控制等领域的应用,最后展望塑料光纤在国内的发展前景。

Abstract: Plastic optical fiber(POF)has obvious advantages in the short distances(1~2 km) of transmission,such as high bandwidth,good toughness,strong antiinterference ability and easily connecting. Firstly,the background and the basic characteristics of POF were introduced. Secondly,the research progress of development and production was analyzed,and the applications in many fields were reviewed,such as the optical fiber to the home(FTTH),car industry,lighting,industrial control,et al.Finally,the prospect was looked forward.
