Study on Two Equal Size Inverted Real Image Systems Based on Scalar Diffraction Theory

摘要: 在进行散斑干涉图像相减实验时,发现标准 4f 系统制备的全息图放入光路能得到干涉条纹,而单透镜 4f 系统制备的全息图却不能实现预期结果。针对该问题,利用标量衍射理论菲涅耳衍射模型逐面推导了这两种系统的物面和像面的光场分布,发现了这两种系统的像面光场复振幅分布的区别。结果表明,两种系统的像面光场都含有因子 -exp( j4kf )U0( -x,-y),但单透镜系统比标准 4f系统多了一个随像面不同坐标位置(x,y)变化的二次相位因子 exp [ jk ( x2 +y 2) /( 2f ) ]。对于直接用眼睛观测和探测器检测,都是接收光强,不受相位因子的影响,这两种系统都成等大倒立的实像。但是在更精密的相干信息光学系统中,单透镜 4f 成像系统像面光场的二次相位因子的影响不能忽略。

Abstract: In the speckle interference image subtraction experiment,we found that the hologram prepared by the standard 4f system could obtain interference fringes,but the 4f single lens system couldn′t achieve the expected results. In this paper, the light field distributions of the object and image planes of the two systems were derived using the Fresnel diffraction model of scalar diffraction theory,which demonstrated the light field distributions of the image planes of the two systems were different. The results showed that the light field on the image plane of both systems contained factors of -exp( j4kf )U0( -x,-y).However,the 4f single lens system had a quadratic phase factor exp[ jk ( x2 + y 2 ) /( 2f ) ] that varies with different coordinate positions (x,y) of the image plane than the standard 4f system. For direct eye observation and detector detection,the received light intensity was not affected by the phase factor,so there was no difference between the two kinds of imaging, and they were equal inverted real images. However, in a more precise interferometric optical system,the influence of the quadratic phase factor of the image plane light field of the 4f single lens imaging system can′t be ignored.
