Abstract: With the development and progress of science and technology，teaching experimental equipments tend to be miniaturized and pocketed，and the teaching method of ″ pocket labs″ is gradually popular in colleges and universities. Based on the author′s experience in implementing ″pocket labs″ in the teaching of Fundamentals of Mono- chip Computers in recent three years，the author introduced the concrete process of equipment preparation，teaching materials preparation，teaching methods and teaching content arrangement in the implementation of ″pocket labs″，and made statistics and evaluation on the teaching effects. The enthusiasms in class，knowledge mastery and practical ability of the students have been significantly improved.
