Abstract: This paper analyzes the repaired status of ancient books from the Hubei Province Library and the manufacturing state of repaired paper for ancient books in China. Then category，fiber character，chemical character and physical character are selected to construct the ER model of repaired paper for ancient books. Based on this ER model，data management system of repaired paper for ancient books is designed，which can carry out many functions such as entering，querying，management and exhibition.
