Abstract: Social justice has become a more and more noticeable problem in the contemporary social development in China, and the construction of theory about the social justice should be carried out cautiously. In order to construct contemporary outlook of social justice with Chinese characteristics, we should take Marxist social justice ideology as guidance, and critically examine Rawls’ and Nozick’s theories of social justice and the outlook of the social justice passed down by Chinese traditional culture. We should take their essence and discard their dross for providing theoretic guidance for realizing social justice.
