Abstract: The central issue of cultural anthropology revealed recently by Iser, i.e. the issue about the need of art and the function of art, is eminent with the unprecedented importance and theoretic position. It revels that we should recognize the artistic function from the basic issue of human needs of the art. It proves anthropological connotation and reconsidering the significance of Marxist art science of the Marxist philosophy. By comparing the two, if we check the result of the combination of Marxist art science and anthropological theoretic system, we can explain anthropology by using Marxist art science and exhibit the profound significance of anthropology.
