Management about Part-time Teachers
——Taking as an Example the Incidence of Dismissing in a University

Abstract: The incident issued by the media that a domestic famous university terminated the employment contract with a professor sick into death led to the hot discussion by the public. The incident exposes the issue that after the reform of the university personnel system, the management of part-time teachers needs to be perfected. The contract signed by university and part-time teacher is part of the labor contract. The management of the part-time teacher should be standardized under the guidance of Law of Labor Contract and relative labor law and regulation. Only in this way, can the autonomous personnel placement be promoted, and at the same time maintain the legal right of the university and the teacher.
