Abstract: Many poems of Chen Hang, the number one scholar of Qing dynasty from eastern Hubei mentioned Yanzhi Hill, a hill by Yanzhi Road of Wuchang. There was a small society similar to a poet group, Cang Shi Wu on Yanzhi Hill of Wuchang. Chen Hang was one of the poets. The participants of the group were all cultural celebrities in Wuchang, who left the hill cultural history about the scholars. Only by exploring fully and protecting specially “city’s memory”, can the city’s profound cultural foundation be manifested.
