Abstract: In order to reduce the economic development disparities among its member countries and promote smooth continuance of the European integration, EU’s active enforcement of the regional policy has made great apparent achievement in reducing regional income gaps, in promoting employment in the relatively backward countries and regions and in economy increase. Its aim of regional economic co-development has reached. Thus, studying and taking example of the successful experience of the EU countries has important theoretic significance and practical value in promoting co-development of Wuhan Urban Cluster and constructing harmonious society.
