Abstract: The study of oriental aesthetics can not break away from the global view. The book of “The Oriental Aesthetics ”written by Peng Xiuyin ,is an important book which put to use a global view. The whole object of this book is try to build up a new form of oriental aesthetics ,which possesses the global significance. The book consideres a global view as a prerequisite of oriental aesthetics study. It enunciates many views on the future and historical opportunity of oriental aesthetics. And it also gives a macroscopic view about oriental aesthetics study. The book applies a global view to analyzes the developping course of the oriental aesthetics. And it also analyzes the relationship between oriental aesthetics and the globalization. Finally,the book applies a global view to talk about the other side of oriental aesthetics ,which makes a deep study on the way and the pattern of modern shifting of oriental aesthetics. The book takes on a great prospect about oriental aesthetics.
