摘要： 司马迁在《屈原列传》中载“屈原者,名平”。此后,不少《楚辞》大家都将它与“正则”、“灵均”的解释相对应,致使屈原名平字原的说法相沿已久。笔者从十条主要材料的梳理入手,疑“屈原者,名平”中的“名”为“字”之误,屈原就叫屈原,平应该是他的字。

Abstract: Sima Qian stated in The Biography of Qu Yuan that “Qu Yuan was given ping for his name”.From then on , not a few Chu Ci researchers adopted it in meanings corresponding to zheng ze(fair rules) and ling jun(well egual), which resulted in the longtime continuation of the statement that Qu Yuan’s name and style are ping and yuan respectively.By carding 10 main materials, this paper comes to the conclusion that the authentic given and styled names of Qu Yuan are yuan and ping.
