Abstract: In the course of the Sinicization of Marxism, Mao Zedong made a historical contribution in solving the problems of the people’s livelihood, for which he not only created the fundamental system of political and economic premise but also explored daringly into improving the people’s livelihood. But so far as the issues of solving the problems of the people’s livelihood, policy guide, strategic points and the motive force of the development are concerned, there are still lessons to be learned and summed up. Which will serve as a lesson in solving the problems of the people’s livelihood in present society.
